About the Resort
Hoshinoya Tokyo - Ryokan near Kanda
HOSHINOYA Tokyo is a Japanese luxury resort providing direct access to Otemachi Financial City. It is a 5-minute walk from Otemachi and a 10-minute walk from Kanda. The property features a dramatic double-height genkan entrance with a seasonal flower display, indigo walls, sliding paper screens, aromatic Japanese wood, and cotton jersey kimono outfits for guests. Each floor is an exclusive domain accessible only by guests, with dedicated staff. Guests are segregated by gender in communal black-walled baths, one located under a double-height skylight. Dining includes Nippon cuisine, focusing on fish, with appetizers curated to the season, paired with Beef Chirashi-zushi. The restaurant has rock formations, earthy clay walls, and 10 hidden dining spaces. Japanese-style afternoon tea presented through French techniques by executive chef, Noriyuki Hamada is available. The spa offers therapies designed to guide the body towards its optimal state. Activities include original training routines combining swordsmanship and deep breathing. A leisurely cruise along Tokyo's historic waterways is available. The ryokan appears as a tall black monolith. A dropoff area for guests is located on the second basement level of Otemachi Financial City Grand Cube.
